Prices

  • Standard Rate - £780

  • Academic/Education/Not for Profit: (you work for an educational institution, library, charity or not-for-profit organisation in any capacity) - £675

  • Students (you are enrolled as a full-time or part-time student at any educational institution at any level) - £575

The registration fee includes:

​

  • Your chosen five-day workshop

  • Keynotes and additional lectures

  • Lunch and morning/afternoon refreshments on all days

  • Welcome drinks reception and poster session

  • Some evening activities including the TORCH DH lecture

  • Participant pack, DHOxSS programme, etc.

  • Certificate of attendance

Registering

​

Registration is via the University of Oxford​ online shop. 

​

Payment is by debit / credit card. As well as registering for the main Summer School the form also allows you to book accommodation and other extras including social events.

Before registering you should ensure you:

​​

  • Know which 5-day workshop you wish to attend

  • Have decided which evening events you wish to attend

  • Know whether you need accommodation and for which nights

  • Be prepared to list any special dietary or accessibility needs

  • Have read the DHOxSS Terms and Conditions

  • Are able to bring a laptop if your workshop requires it (see Laptop Guidance)

  • Have your credit or debit card ready to pay

Please note:

Places cannot be reserved before a course opens for booking. Provisional bookings cannot be made.

​

By paying for DHOxSS participants are agreeing to the cancellation terms and conditions of booking shown below.

 

Accommodation bookings via the DHOxSS registration, must be booked before midnight on Sunday 18th June. NB: Early booking is advisable as places are limited and on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

Bursaries and discounts

 

We are unable to offer discounts on the advertised charges. A small number of bursaries will be available for students and early-career researchers - see our Bursaries page for details.

 

We are unable to hold a provisional booking for applicants whilst they are applying for a bursary or other funding.

 

Booking Confirmation

 

Acknowledgement of the booking will be sent via email.

 

Cancellation / Refunds

​

Where notice of cancellation is received we will refund a proportion of the course fee. This applies to the registration fee, accommodation and dinner bookings.

​

The non-refundable portion of the course fee is £225 per person and cannot be reimbursed. This applies for both individual and block bookings.

 

The following time periods reference the day on which we receive your written notification of cancellation.

​

  • More than 14 working days before the start date - 100% of the refundable portion
     

  • 7 to 14 working days before the start date - 50% of the refundable portion
     

  • Less than 7 working days before the start date - 0% of the refundable portion
